Serendipity Club
The extended care program, Serendipity Club, offers before and after school care for children regularly enrolled in Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth Grades. It is staffed by school personnel and legally can operate only on days when school is in session, including minimum days. Serendipity Club provides care and supervised, recreational, enrichment activities. It serves working families who desire both parochial school education and supplementary day care in a Christian environment. Within a large family environment, the program strives to provide individual attention, security, consistency, and fair treatment for children who attend. For more information, please contact Leah Buchanan or refer to the handbook.

PTG (Parent Teacher Group)
The purpose of PTG and our room parents is to support the teacher and classroom activities. We also support Holy Rosary School fundraisers, such as Holy Hotcakes, the Holy Rosary Auction, and the On Course for Education golf tournament. Lastly, PTG builds community and is the bridge between parents and the school. For more information, please contact our PTG Coordinator Allison Norris through email or at (925) 706-2188.

Grocery Store Purchases
Raley's/Nob Hill, SaveMart, and Safeway stores include Holy Rosary School among their beneficiaries, granting Holy Rosary School from 1-4% of your grocery purchases. This is not a credit or debit card. The card merely tells the store that a percentage of your purchase is directed to Holy Rosary School. There is nothing on either card that identifies you.

The S.H.A.R.E.S. card is accepted at SaveMart, Food Maxx, and S-mart Foods.

The Quality of Life card is accepted at Raley's, Nob Hill Foods and Bel-Air.

The Safeway Club Card is accepted at Safeway store (in conjunction with enrollment in eScrip for HRS to receive benefits).

S,H.A.R.E.S./Quality of Life: This program is very simple. Friends of Holy Rosary School simply present their card at hte register when checking out (but before you pay - whether by cash or credit card). No other action is necessary, and your favorite school wil receive a donation of 1-4% of your purchase.

Safeway Club: Earn money for your school with the Safeway eScrip program. Once enrolled, a percentage of your qualifying purchases are credited to the school or group of your choice every time you shop with your Safeway Club Card.

To receive Quality of Life of S.H.A.R.E.S. cards, or for more information on the Safeway Club Card, please contact Sue Chinn through email or at (925) 757-1270. For Holy Rosary to benefit, you must use the card issued by us, and remember to swipe it every time you shop.

If more than one member of your family shops at these stores, please just tell us how many cards you can use and we will get them to you.

All funds received go directly to the maintenance and operation of Holy Rosary School.

On Course Fore Education
Holy Rosary’s annual On Course Fore Education Golf Tournament has provided over $285,000 for advancements in technology and learning for our school. The tournament is held in October of each year at the Discovery Bay Country Club. Play in the event, become a sponsor, or volunteer for the day!
